BREWSTER — Susan Beth Churchill and Martin Richard Moran, both of Wethersfield, Conn., were joined in marriage at the Old Sea Pines Inn by Justice of the Peace Royden C. Richardson. A reception immediately followed.

The bride, daughter of Charles C. Churchill of Porter, Maine, and Nancy D. Miller of Edinburg, N.Y., was given in marriage by her father to the son of Martin E. and Nancy Moran of South Harwich.

Helen O'Keefe of New Haven, Conn., was the bride's maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Gwen Davis of Wolfeboro, N.H., sister of the bride, Sarah Drobnack of Amsterdam, N.Y., Kim Howe of Somerville and Coletta Moran of Amherst. The junior bridesmaids were Marie Kenney of Richmond, Vt., and Molly Davidson of New York City. The flower girl was Maureen Moran of West Lebanon, N.H.

Frank Moran of West Lebanon served as his brother's best man. The ushers were Jon Adams of Sommers, N.Y., Mike and Steve Armentano of Manchester, Conn., and Bob Ferriera of Portsmouth, R.I. The junior groomsman was Nate Kenney of Richmond. The ring bearer was Guy Robert Davidson of New York City.

The bride was educated at Arizona State University. She is a self-employed voice-over artist.

The bridegroom was educated at Providence College. He is a self-employed voice-over artist and audio producer.

Mr. and Mrs. Moran honeymooned on Martha's Vineyard. They are residing in Wethersfield.

Shearer-Thrasher

FALMOUTH - Kristin Judith Thrasher and Douglas Houlton Shearer were united in marriage at St. Barnabas Church by the Rev. Robert B. Appleyard Jr. A reception followed on Chapoquoit Island in West Falmouth.

The bride, daughter of Oscar and Patricia Thrasher of East Falmouth, was given in marriage by her father to the son of Daniel and Deborah Shearer of West Falmouth.

Lisa M. Cann of East Falmouth was the bride's matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Darcy W. Shearer of West Falmouth, sister of the bridegroom, and Amy E. Bergstrom of East Falmouth.

Scott W. DeMello of North Falmouth served as the bridegroom's best man. The ushers were Scott J. and Brian P. Thrasher of East Falmouth, brothers of the bride.

The bride is a 1991 graduate of Falmouth High School. She is the owner of Girl Friday Services of Falmouth.

The bridegroom is a 1989 graduate of Falmouth High School. He is in the process of opening the business Paine's Patio of Falmouth.

Mr. and Mrs. Shearer spent their honeymoon sailing to several islands around Cape Cod and Rhode Island. They are residing in West Falmouth.

Beaton-Turner

ENFIELD, Conn. - Dyan Mary Turner of Somers and Michael Joseph Beaton of Chatham were united in marriage at St. Bernard Church by the Rev. Joseph E. Vujs. A reception followed at the Best Western Sovereign Hotel of West Springfield, Mass.

The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Turner of Somers, was given in marriage by her father to the son of Darlene Long of Chatham and Christopher Beaton of Northfield, Mass.

Darby Muia was her sister's matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Elizabeth Beaton and Amy Latourelle, sisters of the bridegroom, Laure Lecours, Sara Bolles, Meghan Cotton, Angela Vaillancourt, Jessica Dumas and Judy Boyle.

Michael Bradbury served as the bridegroom's best man. The ushers were Darrell Turner, brother of the bride Nicholas Sullivan-Beaton, brother of the bridegroom Tim Long, stepbrother of the bridegroom Tim Hunter Jason Farenkopf Jason Gilespie Ray McPeck and Nate Cramer. The ring bearer was Philippe Lecours.

The bride is a graduate of Somers High School and of Westfield State College. She is a kindergarten teacher at St. Joseph School in Vernon.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Chatham High School and of Westfield State College. He is employed by the U.S. Department of Transportation as a security screener.

Mr. and Mrs. Beaton honeymooned in Florida and the Bahamas. They are residing in Vernon.

Morgan-Falletti

YARMOUTHPORT - Susan J. Falletti and Michael C. Morgan, both of Hyannis, were joined in marriage at The First Congregational Church of Yarmouth by the Rev. Harry B. Irwin III. A reception followed at The Harbor Point restaurant of Cummaquid.

The bride, daughter of John and Susan Leite of Centerville and Richard and Margaret Falletti of Brewster, was given in marriage by her father and stepfather to the son of Barr Marie Polinsky of San Diego.

Amy Jalbert was her sister's maid of honor and Maddison Jalbert was her aunt's flower girl.

Curt Benntinen served as the bridegroom's best man. The ushers were Michael and Damian Polinsky, sons of the bridegroom. The ring bearer was Mason Jalbert, nephew of the bride.

The bride graduated from Nauset Regional High School and attended Newbury Junior College of Brookline and Cape Cod Community College. She works in the medical records department of Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis.

The bridegroom graduated from Junipero Serra High School and attended Southwestern Junior College in San Diego. He is a Town of Barnstable weighmaster at the Barnstable Transfer Station.

Mr. and Mrs. Morgan honeymooned in Playa Car, Mexico. They are residing in Barnstable.

Lisa F. MalatestaPaul T. Cundari

EASTHAM - Alan and Bette Malatesta of Eastham have announced the engagement of their daughter, Lisa Forest Malatesta of Eastham, to Paul Thomas Cundari of Eastham, son of Michaelina Cundari of Yarmouthport and the late Charles Cundari.

Ms. Malatesta, a 1991 graduate of Nauset Regional High School, earned an associate of arts degree from Oxford College of Emory University in Atlanta in 1993 and a bachelor's degree in sociology from Emory University in 1995. She is employed in HIV services by Outer Cape Health of Provincetown.

Mr. Cundari, a 1984 graduate of Pleasantville High School in Pleasantville, N.Y., earned an associate's degree from Delhi State University in Delhi, N.Y., and a bachelor's degree in hotel and restaurant management from Florida International University in 1990. He is employed by Cape Associates of Eastham.

A September wedding is planned.

Sarah BrighamRyan Haynes

MARSTONS MILLS - Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brigham Jr. of Marstons Mills have announced the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Brigham of Alexandria, Va., to Ryan Haynes of Alexandria, son of Gar Robbin Wright of Byrdstown, Tenn., and Ronald Haynes of Fort Bragg, N.C.

Miss Brigham graduated from Barnstable High School in 1996 and from Bridgewater State College in 2001. She is employed as a nanny.

Mr. Haynes is a 1996 graduate of Pickett County High School. He is serving with the Army as a military policeman in the United States Old Guard.

An Oct. 11 wedding is planned at Our Lady of Victory Church of Centerville.

Kristin GeisheckerJames Theofanides

FALMOUTH - Rosita M.A. Geishecker of Falmouth and Andrew G. Geishecker of Norwood have announced the engagement of their daughter, Kristin Geishecker of North Falmouth, to James Theofanides of North Falmouth, son of Lorelei Holzem of Sawyer's Bar, Calif., and Michael Theofanides of Etna, Calif.

Miss Geishecker graduated from Falmouth High School in 1994 and earned a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from Connecticut College in 1998. She is employed part-time as a nann is a full-time graduate student pursuing a master of education degree in counseling from Bridgewater State College.

Mr. Theofanides graduated from Etna High School in Etna, Calif., in 1989. He completed a four-year enlistment in the Coast Guard in 1995 and now works as a warehouse manager for R.D. Crane.

An October wedding is planned at the Sea Crest Resort of North Falmouth.

Thea L. SteeleJoseph S. LaGuerre

BREWSTER - Lillian J. Steele of Brewster has announced the engagement of her daughter, Thea L. Steele of Hyannis, to Joseph S. LaGuerre of Hyannis, son of Norma Fuentes of West Yarmouth and the late Raul M. LaGuerre.

Miss Steele graduated from Cape Cod Regional Vocational Technical High School in Harwich and from Cape Cod Community College this year. She is a medical assistant to Dr. James Cavanaugh.

Mr. LaGuerre is a graduate of Cape Cod Regional Vocational Technical High School in Harwich. He is employed by ARC of Cape Cod.

A wedding date has not been set.

Guiliano-Manoli

FALMOUTH - Theresa Manoli and Brian Guiliano, both of Falmouth, were joined in marriage at John Wesley United Methodist Church by the Rev. Charles Bark. A reception followed at The Navigator.

The bride, daughter of John and Kim Manoli of Falmouth, was given in marriage by her father to the son of John and Frances Guiliano of Falmouth.

Angela Manoli of Falmouth was her sister's maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Melissa Manoli of Falmouth, sister of the bride, Amy Bruce of Falmouth, sister of the bridegroom, Deirdre Eddy of Falmouth and Chrissy Langlois of Wareham. Mary Annadale was her aunt's flower girl.

William Cuozzo served as the bridegroom's best man. The ushers were Mark Guiliano of Falmouth, brother of the bridegroom Chris Baker of Jacksonville, Fla., cousin of the bridegroom Dennis Manoli of Wareham, brother of the bride and Rob Onges of Falmouth. Dylan Manoli, son of the bride, was the ring bearer.

The bride attended Cape Cod Community College. She is a homemaker.

The bridegroom attended Upper Cape Cod Regional Technical School in Bourne. He is a truck driver for Waste Management.

Mr. and Mr. Guiliano honeymooned on a cruise to Jamaica and Grand Cayman Island. They are residing in Mashpee.

Styskal-Kennedy

ORLEANS - Kathleen Mary Kennedy of Washington, D.C., and Marine Corps Capt. Michael Sean Styskal of Lake Villa, Ill., were united in marriage at St. Joan of Arc Church by the Rev. Richard M. Roy. A reception followed at the Wychmere Harbor Club of Harwich Port.

The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter B. Kennedy of East Orleans, was given in marriage by her father to the son of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Styskal of Lake Villa and Patricia Ortwein of Arizona.

Sarah Merkel of Newport Beach, Calif., was the bride's maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Stacey Crowley of Washington, D.C., Kara Dahn of Newburyport and Molly Staunton of West Hartford, Conn. The flower girl was Carmen Zayasbazan, niece of the bridegroom.

Marine Corps Capt. Matthew Howes served as the bridegroom's best man. The groomsmen were Marine Corps Capts. Russell Boyce, Brian Gilman and George Schreffler III.

The bride is a graduate of Immaculate High School in Danbury, Conn., and of Providence College in Rhode Island. She is employed in legislative relations.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Iowa State University. He is serving as a captain in the Marine Corps.

Capt. and Mrs. Styskal honeymooned in the Turks and Caicos Islands. They are residing in California.

Rooney-Murphy

The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John C. Murphy of South Yarmouth, was given in marriage by her father to the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert N. Rooney.

Carole Depin of Dennis and Ginny Murphy of Hyannis were their sister's matron of honor and maid of honor, respectively. Justine Rooney of West Yarmouth, niece of the bridegroom, was the bridesmaid, and Hannah Depin and Paula Rooney were the flower girls.

Thomas J. Rooney of West Yarmouth served as his brother's best man. The ushers were James F. Curley of Cohasset, cousin of the bridegroom, and Timothy K. Depin of Dennis, nephew of the bride.

The bride is a graduate of Bridgewater State College. She is a project manager for the State Street Corp.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Boston College, of Western New England College and of Anna Maria College. He is a Town of Yarmouth Police lieutenant.

Mr. and Mrs. Rooney honeymooned in Bermuda. They are residing in South Yarmouth.

Davenport-Person

CASTINE, Maine - Melissa Kara Person and Jamie Daniel Davenport, both of West Roxbury, Mass., were united in marriage at the bride's family residence by the Rev. James Gower. A reception immediately followed.

The bride, daughter of Eric and Roseanne Person of Miami, was given in marriage by her father to the son of James and Christine Davenport of West Dennis.

Gabriela Girola of Miami was the bride's maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Deanna Dolan of Delray Beach, Fla., Hannah Nackson of New York City, Sarah Bluvol of Belmont, Mass., Kristin Vespucci-Case of Attleboro, Mass., and Bethanie Shirk of Tampa, Fla. The flower girl was Kaylee Humphrey of Jupiter, Fla., second cousin of the bride.

William Collyer of Orlando, Fla., served as the bridegroom's best man. The ushers were Paul DeVries of Wellfleet, Brewster Cole of Brewster, Heather Mack of Brewster, and Christopher and Sean Person of Miami, brothers of the bride. The ring bearer was Zachary Humphrey of Jupiter, cousin of the bride.

The bride earned a bachelor of arts degree from Rollins College in Winter Park, Fla. She is a client service manager for Emerson Investment Management of Boston.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Nauset Regional High School. He is a carpenter for Don Langell of Woburn.

Mr. and Mrs. Davenport honeymooned on the Amalfi Coast of Italy. They are residing in West Roxbury.

West Dennis couple celebrates 50th anniversary

WEST DENNIS - Wesle Lorraine Eaton, lifelong residents of West Dennis, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 22 at a surprise party hosted by the their children and their spouses at the home of their son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Donna Eaton of Harwich. It was attended by many friends and family members.

Mr. and Mrs. Eaton were married on Sept. 18, 1952.

Mr. Eaton, a Coast Guard veteran, served the Town of Dennis in many capacities for more than 30 years before retiring.

Mrs. Eaton is an avid supporter of the fire and police departments and the U.S. Coast Guard.

In addition to their son Brad, Mr. and Mrs. Eaton have two daughters, Bonnie Hutchinson and her husband Rob of West Dennis, and Joyce MacNayr and her husband Bruce of South Dennis. They couple have six grandchildren, Angie Long, Heather Thomas, Jessica and Justin MacNayr, and Lindsa Hillary Hutchinson and four great-grandchildren.
